Rhinocort aqua nasal spray is mainly used to treat allergic
symptoms, running nose and sneezing.
The spray is a kind of corticosteroid that acts shrinking swollen
nasal tissues. It also blocks certain cells in the immune system.
Rhinocort aqua nasal spray is a kind of a steroid that is used to
suppress the immune system. It reduces infections and helps to control
any other infections that may be more severe. Before taking the drug,
it is important that you shake the container thoroughly and prime the
spraying pump for at least 8 times. This is so that a fine mist
appears.
Relief often occurs at least 10 hours after application and total
improvement is achieved during the fist 2 to 3 days. Within 2 weeks,
the patient achieves maximum benefits but it is important to note that
the drug should not be used after 120 days. If the symptoms do not
reduce after those two weeks then it is important to seek a doctors
help.
You should not use the rhinocort aqua nasal spray if you are
allergic to any ingredient in the spray or if you are taking another
drug that contains mifepristone
Before using rhinocort aqua nasal spray, it is best that you
inform your doctor it you have the following conditions:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
If you are planning on becoming pregnant
If you are talking a prescription that has a herbal
preparation in it or a dietary supplement
If you have any allergic reactions to any food, medicines or
any other substances
If you have kind or a bacterial infection, fungal infection,
viral infection or even chickenpox
If you have TB
If you have diarrhea, ulcers or any other infection in the
stomach
Some of the common side effects associated with rhinocort aqua
nasal spray are cough, nose bleeding, sore throat and irritation of
the nasal lining. There have also been reports of patients
experiencing difficulties in breathing, irregular heartbeats, visual
problems and fever.
Allergic reactions using rhinocort aqua nasal sprays are rare but
they do occur where patients have swellings on their skins or in their
throats.
Unless it is completely necessary women should not use the
spray.
